Rompan todo: La historia del rock en América Latina
“Rompan Todo” es un como abrir el arca de los recuerdos y echar un vistazo por la historia del rock que estará disponible a partir del 16 de diciembre del 2020.
“¿Sentían que a este año le faltó rock? Pregunto Netflix y así respondió. Rompan todo, se estrena este 16 de diciembre”, publicó la compañía en sus redes sociales.
Aún no se sabe a ciencia cierta el contenido específico de la producción, pero promete ser un emocionante paseo por la historia de la huella que ha dejado el rock latino en más de 50 años de su existencia.
Por este estreno desfilarán bandas como Maná, Soda Stereo, Café Tacvba, Molotov, Aterciopelados, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs y Maldita Vecindad, entre otras.
También Charly García, El Tri, Fito Páez, Andrés Calamaro, Mon Laferte, Juanes y otros más.
Se informó que aún faltan artistas por confirmar.

Soda Stereo, Café Tacvba, Aterciopelados and others figure in this 50-year history of Latin American rock through dictatorships, disasters and dissent.
Netflix confirmed the premiere of Rompan todo: La historia del rock en América Latina. It is a 6-chapter documentary series that tells the history of this musical genre in Argentina and the region.
Directed by Picky Talarico, and executive produced by Nicolás Entel and Gustavo Santaolalla (winner of two Oscars), it is one of the great premieres scheduled for the remainder of 2020.
Through footage and almost 100 interviews with the most important musicians from the continent, explore 50 years of this musical genre. A story written with electric guitars and distortion, marked by the fight against power, censorship and repression.
The project, produced by Red Creek, also explores how social and political conflicts influenced rock records, songs and careers from Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, Peru.
The series has archive material, more than 150 musical themes and interviews with the most prominent musicians of the region such as Soda Stereo, Café Tacvba, Charly García, Los Prisioneros, El Tri, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Andrés Calamaro, Molotov, Mon Laferte, Aterciopelados and Fito Páez.
It premieres on Netflix on December 16, 2020.
