25 Years of Trajectory

It all started in Montevideo on 1994. A Uruguayan, an Argentinean and a Mexican crossed paths to set their destiny as the foundation of NoTeVaGustar, the most important band of the Uruguayan rock with a massive fan base in Latin America. To celebrate and relive all that they have accomplished in their first quarter of a century of trajectory, the group published a biographical book entitled Memorias del olvido, which is now available for sale on a digital platform by Grupo Planeta.
Twenty five years later -with more than 1,300 concerts and 15 albums, Memorias del Olvido is a pause in their restless present to look back at the past and narrate with their own voices in more than 60 interviews and a revealing photographic archive, the epic journey of a band who sees themselves performing their entire lives. Without any filters, the group shares its first and only official biography.
Along with this great news, NoTeVaGustar is about to release their next album, an audiovisual piece titled “Otras Canciones” where they revisit a good part of their musical career with collaborations featuring great artists. For their first release they featured Julieta Venegas, who sings a duet with Emiliano Brancciari and recreates one of the group’s greatest hits “Chau“. Other special guests in this reunion include Draco Rosa, Jorge Drexler, Catalina García (Monsieur Periné), Flor de Toloache and Hugo Fattoruso.
The book is available online among other stores in Amazon, Apple and Planeta de Libros.
