| As part of their 35th Anniversary, Los Auténticos Decadentes begin a new phase of the A D N discographic trilogy, the project that explores their seminal roots over the course of three albums in which, with skill and respect, the “kings of song” cover popular music classics of the last few decades. This time, los Deca present “Jurabas tú” in stellar collaboration with the number one group in Argentine tropical music Los Palmeras, who themselves are celebrating an impressive 50 years together. This song is the first preview and official single from Capítulo D, the second album in the ADN triad, which will be released in April.
“Jurabas tú” is an original piece by Los del fuego, the iconic cumbia santafesina band whose verses are an ever-present classic at popular festivals and soccer stadiums in Argentina. A charmingly irresistible song that, performed with love and expertise by two music giants, will get everyone dancing in every corner of Latin America and the world.
The cover was artistically produced by Martín “Moska” Lorenzo, Mariano Franceschelli and Los Auténticos Decadentes, with mixing and mastering by Gustavo Borner at the Igloo Music studios in Los Angeles. The artwork is by Alejandro Ros and the video that accompanies the release was filmed in Buenos Aires under the direction of Octavio “El Vikingo” Lovisolo.
“Jurabas tú” follows “Golpes en el corazón,” masterpiece by Los Tigres del Norte and performed by LAD with Natalia Lafourcade as an official single on Capítulo A. The song is a total success across the continent, reaching the top of the radio charts in Argentina and Mexico and leading the most prominent playlists in Latin music on the major digital streaming platforms. Capítulo A has accumulated more than 45 million streams since its release in November 2021, and in addition to Natalia, Panteón Rococó, Bándalos Chinos, Santaferia, Los Pericos, Attaque 77 and Rubén Rada stand out among its guest artists. The album is also available in CD Digipack Deluxe and 45 RPM Vinyl formats.
