JONNY SANTOS RESURFACES IN SILENT CIVILIAN DEBUT ALBUM ?REBIRTH OF THE TEMPLE?
DUE APRIL 18TH ON MEDIASKARE RECORDS
ON TOUR W/ NOTHINGFACE BEGINS FEBRUARY 11TH
Coming out of the SGV in California, SILENT CIVILIAN is set to release their debut album ?REBIRTH OF THE TEMPLE? on April 18th through MEDIASKARE RECORDS. Produced and mixed by former Machine Head guitarist Logan Mader, the album is set to breathe new air into the current new wave of American metal. Four tracks from the album, ?Rebirth Of The Temple?, ?The Song Remains Un-Named?, ?Divided?, and ?Falling Down?, can now be heard online at www.myspace.com/silentcivilian and www.purevolume.com/silentcivilian.
SILENT CIVILIAN was formed by JONNY SANTOS, who is best known for his work as the vocalist/songwriter in the Grammy nominated metal band Spineshank. After selling 1,000,000 records worldwide, SANTOS chose to leave Spineshank in January of 2004. With SANTOS feeling the need to resurface in another band to feed his appetite for brutal metal, SILENT CIVILIAN was born. Being a veteran of the music industry and understanding the pressure to be commercially accepted, JONNY decided to go back to his metal roots and create a monster that would have no boundary or restrictions when it came to the music. Joining SANTOS (vocals/guitar) are TIM MANKOWSKI (guitar), HENNO (bass), and CHRIS MORA (drums).
With a music video directed by Scott Culver (Yellowcard, Mikoto, Hit The Lights) already completed for the title track from the album and national touring being lined up, 2006 is shaping up to be a huge year for SILENT CIVILIAN. To kick things off, the band will be hitting the road with Nothingface beginning February 11th.
Welcome to the crushing world of Silent Civilian? This is metal.
