NACIONAL RECORDS AND NETTWERK MUSIC GROUP ANNOUNCE JOINT VENTURE FOR PUBLISHING, FILM/TV, AND FOREIGN RELEASES

Leading Latin-Alternative Label Partners With Indie Powerhouse Nettwerk Music Group To Launch Canciones Nacionales Music Publishing; Initial Signings Include Nortec Collective & Sara Valenzuela

Nettwerk Will Also Represent Nacional For Film/TV Placements As Well As Release Select Nacional Titles in Europe Via Nettwerk Europe

Two leading indie, artist management-focused labels have joined forces to increase artist opportunities and strengthen their respective niches. Leading Latin-alternative label Nacional Records has announced the creation of Canciones Nacionales Music Publishing, a joint venture with indie label/music publishing/management powerhouse Nettwerk Music Group and their publishing company Nettwerk One. Among the initial acts signing with Canciones Nacionales / Nettwerk One for co-publishing are Tijuana-based electronic leaders Nortec Collective and critically-acclaimed Mexican chanteuse Sara Valenzuela. Several additional co-publishing signings will be announced shortly.

The strategic partnership between Nettwerk and Nacional also extends into film and television, with Nettwerk providing placement services for Nacional acts Nortec Collective, The Pinker Tones, and Sara Valenzuela. Select titles from Nacional will also be released in Europe via Nettwerk, including the planned European summer releases of Nortec Collective ?Tijuana Sessions, Vol. 3? and Panoptica ?Ahora Yo a Ti.?
