February 15th, 2006 by ALT+165

sworn enemyON JANUARY 24th SWORN ENEMY RELEASED THEIR MOST ANTICIPATED ALBUM TO DATE, RECENTLY SLAYED FANS ON THIS JANUARY?S ANTHRAX TOUR WITH GOD FORBID AND NOW? ON THE CROSSROADS TO ARMAGEDDON TOUR WITH SIX FEET UNDER!!! PLUS A NEW VIDEO, ?SCARED OF THE UNKNOWN?!

“Like the roaches that infest their hometown, NYC hardcore stalwarts Sworn Enemy seem unstoppable. Nearly a decade into their career, they sound as strong as ever, courtesy of guitarist Lorenzo Antonucci?s pit-driving breakdowns and frontman Sal LoCoco?s powerful barks.”

With the press hailing this band as heavy music?s biggest contenders, ?The Beginning of the End? is the metal that individuals will chew on and be thrown into the pit by their own rebellious bodies?? ?leaves all listeners impacted by its bone crushing madness, whose roots are right there with early Metallica?? ?exactly the way hardcore and thrash metal first wavers played it, but better?? ?Sworn Enemy makes a record that sounds fresh and alive? ?Mix Slayer, Pantera and Hatebreed and you?ve got Sworn Enemy?? ?Doesn?t really sound like the obvious hardcore bands out there??

MTV2 Headbangers Ball will World Premiere the new Sworn Enemy video, ?Scared of the Unknown? on February 18th. Directed by Dale Resteghini (Trivium, Hatebreed, Darkest Hour), the video was shot in a sixteenth century graveyard, not far from the band?s hometown of Queens. The video shows a darker, more introspective side of the band not seen before. Check it out here: http://www.abacusrecordings.com/videos/scaredoftheunknown/
